AIB is proud to announce that three students have had work selected for WVAEA’s Youth Art Month exhibition at the Parkersburg Art Center. Only 9 pieces are allotted per county. Jaide Hisam’s mixed media work “Bolt”, Emily Gist’s oil pastel “Still Life with Limes”, and Paten Haynes’s digital piece “Hollywood” will be on display. A reception and awards ceremony will take place on February 26 at 1pm. Their work will then travel to Charleston, WV, for Arts Alive, a celebration of WV’s most talented theatre, music, dance, and visual art students. Visitors are welcomed to attend both showcases.

The staff at AIB would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Boreman students in grades 1-5 recently participated in our school Scripps National Spelling Bee. Congratulations to al of the students who placed. The 1st place winners in 4th and 5th grade will move on to the Regional Spelling Bee in March. Congratulations and best of luck to Lilly Moore and Emily Gist! Way to go!
