Former Knights Band Director, Wayne Smith and his wife came in today to work with the TCMS jazz band to help prepare them for the Marshall University Jazz Band Festival on February 16th. They were impressed with how mature this group is playing. Way to go, jazz band!

Due to cold temperatures, and secondary road conditions all Tyler County Schools will be closed Wednesday, January 17th, 2024 for all students and staff.

Congratulations to TCMS Band members Chase Camerlin (1st Chair Trombone) and Xavier Kanz (1st Chair French Horn). These students gave an impressive performance with the Region I Honor Band today at the J.B. Chambers Performing Arts Center at Wheeling Park High School. Their guest conductor, Michael Cale from Mountaineer Middle School in Harrison County rehearsed these two and their fellow musicians from around our region. Way to go! You did a great job representing Tyler Consolidated!

After School Tutoring schedule for January. Our first date will be next week on Monday, January 8th.
Back to School - January 2024: Staff returns Wednesday 1/3, MS & HS students return Thursday 1/4, and AIB/SES students return Friday 1/5.
Mrs. Strode and Mrs. Boso have been working with the students who earned a spot on the Quiz Bowl teams. We have been practicing using our new buzzer systems and hope to put on a quiz bowl competition at TCMS in the spring.
Mr. Weber's Health classes are wrapping up the semester with their blood flow and body systems projects!
